Honored to be listed! Huabao has won the BISRA Award

In an era of uncertainty, how can businesses translate social responsibility into tangible impact? And how can they ensure development benefits reach broader communities? Recently, the 2025 Bisnis Indonesia Social Responsibility Awards (BISRA 2025) ceremony was held in Jakarta. Huabao Industrial Park secured two awards in the corporate social responsibility category for its Morowali Maleo Airport Expansion Project and Huabao Youth Empowering Chambers (HYEC), demonstrating the true meaning of social responsibility through impactful actions.

The BISRA Awards, officially known as the Bisnis Indonesia Corporate Social Responsibility Awards, are initiated by Indonesia's leading financial media outlet Bisnis Indonesia and rank among the nation's most influential corporate social responsibility accolades. This honor affirms the park's ongoing commitment to advancing social responsibility initiatives within a sustainable development framework.

The confidence to advance social responsibility stems from sustained and far-reaching actions. Since Huabao Industrial Park established its presence in Indonesia, it has made long-term investments in religion, education, and people's livelihoods, continuously organizing and participating in various ESG activities. Beyond formulating annual social responsibility plans, the park also monitors the implementation of existing social responsibility projects to ensure every initiative delivers tangible results.

Recently, the runway expansion project at Morowali Maleo Airport, funded by the industrial park (Zhenshi Group) with an investment of approximately US$10 million, has been partially completed. This upgrade enables the airport to accommodate larger passenger aircraft, facilitating travel for residents of Morowali and surrounding counties. Concurrently, repairs to damaged and potholed sections of the provincial highway in Ambunu Village have been finalized, with the road now officially reopened to traffic. These improvements significantly enhance both the road's capacity and safety.

While continuously improving infrastructure, the park also broadens and deepens its social responsibility initiatives.

In the religious sphere, the park sponsors major religious festivals, donates supplies, repairs places of worship, and actively participates in local community celebrations. In education, the park donates building materials, offers internship programs, and hosts the Youth Empowering Chambers (HYEC) to help nearby schools improve teaching conditions, providing support for local education development within its capabilities. In healthcare, the park regularly organizes voluntary blood donation drives to bolster local Red Cross blood reserves. It also donates an ambulance and various medical facilities to enhance basic healthcare capabilities in surrounding areas.

Additionally, the park convenes regular village-town coordination meetings. When the local communities raise concerns, the park responds proactively and  assigns dedicated personnel to coordinate solutions for issues spanning employment, environmental protection, land acquisition, and other matters, providing assistance to neighboring villages and towns within its capacity.

This award recognizes Huabao Park's long-standing commitment to social responsibility and serves as an encouragement. Moving forward, Huabao Park will remain dedicated to sustainable development, continuing to put ESG principles into practice through concrete actions to warm the community and give back to society.
