Huabao Industrial Park Hosts Series of Events Celebrating Indonesia's Independence Day

August 17, 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's independence. To celebrate Indonesia's Independence Day, foster unity among Chinese and Indonesian employees, and cultivate a harmonious and friendly atmosphere within the industrial park, Huabao Industrial Park hosted a series of celebratory events on August 17.

Flag-Raising Ceremony

On the morning of August 17, Huabao Industrial Park held a flag-raising ceremony with representatives from various companies and departments in attendance. As the solemn national anthem played, the Indonesian flag was raised. Participants sang the anthem, and a park representative led everyone in reciting the Pancasila. Ceremony representatives read aloud the Indonesian Declaration of Independence and the preamble of the 1945 Constitution, followed by a prayer for the souls of the nation's forebears.

Tug-of-War Competition

Following the ceremony, the tug-of-war competition kicked off with great fervor. Teams gripped the rope tightly, straining every muscle as they pulled backward in unison. Chants and cheers echoed across the field. The ribbon swayed back and forth across the white line as both sides gave their all, until the champion team emerged triumphant.

Fun Sports Meet

At the fun sports day, diverse activities such as kangaroo hops, wire hoop challenges, and land dragon boat races drew enthusiastic participation from numerous Chinese and Indonesian employees. The event buzzed with excitement, filled with waves of laughter.

This marks my third Indonesian Independence Day celebration at Huabao Industrial Park. Despite the heavy rain, the festive atmosphere remained undiminished,“ said Indonesian employee Amira Zahra. ”I'm delighted to celebrate Indonesia's national holiday alongside my Chinese colleagues. I hope we can continue striving together to build a better Huabao Industrial Park and a more prosperous Indonesia."
